A very nice and fast lens for use on the Olympus E series camera’s. This is a very lens which provides very sharp images , as a portrait lens is it very nice. Manual focusing will give you the control over the sharpness in the image. The aperture of the 85mm F1.4AS UMC Four Thirds  lens is not geared to this camera . If the brightness is set to 8 or larger  you may not be able to focus the subject properly because it is difficult to see the subject through your camera viewfinder. Therefore when the lens is attached to the camera , turn the aperture adjustment ring to fully open the aperture and check that the focus is correct, then readjust the aperture to set the depth of field  and brightness you want, than take your photograph..
